We respond to true emergencies around the clock. Book the first available slot, describe your emergency in the notes, and we'll call you immediately to dispatch a technician.

⚠ This service is for genuine hazardous emergencies only — not for expediting standard repairs.

THE EK
STANDARD

Most repair companies send someone over, swap a part, and disappear. We do it differently.

EK Kinetics is a local South Florida business — not a franchise, not a call center. When you book with us, you're calling your neighbor. Someone who lives here, works here, and has a reputation to protect right here in this community.

We've fixed appliances that other technicians "couldn't figure out." We know what cutting corners looks like — because we're the ones called to fix those corners.

Pet-Friendly Home Visits
We love animals. Your pets can stay — no need to lock them away or arrange for them to be elsewhere. We work calmly around any household pet.
European work ethic.
Florida heart.
  • Diagnosis before any work — you approve the price first
We diagnose, explain exactly what's wrong, give you the full price — and only then begin. No surprise invoices. Ever.
  • OEM & certified parts only — no cheap substitutes
We use original manufacturer components or certified equivalents. The right part, installed correctly, lasts. The wrong part fails in three months.
  • We work clean — your home stays your home
We bring our own protection, we don't leave tools on your counters, and we take all debris with us. You shouldn't know we were there — except that your appliance works.
  • Tested and confirmed before we leave — not assumed
We run a full test cycle on every repaired appliance before closing the job. We don't assume it works. We verify.
  • 90-day free return — if it fails, we come back at no charge
If anything we repaired fails within 90 days, we return and fix it for free. No arguments, no conditions. That's our word.
  • All brands — from Whirlpool to Sub-Zero, we know them all
  • Ask about small home repairs while we're there
Need a shelf mounted, an outlet replaced, or a light fixture swapped? If it can be done on the spot with the tools we carry — just ask. One visit, multiple problems solved.

QUICK
ANSWERS

Is the $89 diagnostic fee added on top of the repair cost?
No — the diagnostic fee is included in the repair price. If we proceed with the repair, you pay the total price and the $89 is already counted in. You only pay the diagnostic fee separately if you decide not to go ahead with the repair.
Do you repair all appliance brands?
Yes — all brands, from Whirlpool to Sub-Zero. However, on older units the cost of parts sometimes exceeds the value of the repair. If that's the case, we'll tell you honestly before doing any work. Have a question about a specific brand or model? Write to us before booking.
Do I need to be home during the repair?
Not required, but recommended. You don't have to be present — but for your own peace of mind and security, it's better if someone is home. If you can't be there, we'll confirm all details beforehand and keep you updated throughout the visit.
What if the part needs to be ordered — how long will I wait?
Most parts arrive next day. In most cases we source parts from local suppliers and they're delivered the following day. In rare situations where the part isn't available locally, delivery takes 2–5 business days. We'll give you a clear timeline at the time of diagnosis.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, Zelle, and all major credit cards. Payment is collected after the job is complete and you are satisfied with the result. The only exception: if a part needs to be ordered, we collect a 50% deposit at the time of diagnosis to cover the order — the remaining balance is paid once the repair is done.
Can your technician help with small repairs around the house?
Yes — if it can be done on the spot, just ask. While our technician is at your home, you're welcome to ask about small tasks: mounting a shelf, replacing an outlet, changing a light fixture. If it's something that can be handled immediately with the tools we carry — we'll do it. No extra trip, no separate appointment.

DOES THIS
SOUND FAMILIAR?

Most appliance failures start with small, easy-to-ignore symptoms — weeks or months before the real breakdown. Read the guide for your appliance and find out what's actually happening inside.

🔥 Dryer — Fire Risk

Clothes taking two cycles to dry? There's a reason — and it's dangerous.

Lint buildup chokes airflow, forces the heating element to work at dangerous temperatures, and is the leading cause of home dryer fires. One ignored filter starts a chain you don't want to finish.

💧 Washing Machine — Flood & Shock Risk

A small damp patch behind the washer is not condensation. It's a warning.

Supply hoses degrade invisibly from the inside. A burst hose releases up to 650 gallons per hour. Water near internal wiring creates electrocution risk. Most owners never look behind the machine.

❄️ Refrigerator — Compressor & Health

If your fridge hums constantly and never shuts off — the compressor is counting down.

Dirty condenser coils force the compressor to run without pause. The result: a $1,400 repair, a spoiled food emergency — and water from an old filter that's quietly concentrating bacteria in every glass.

🔥 Oven & Range — Kitchen Fire Risk

That burning smell from the oven isn't just old food. Grease on a heating element can ignite.

Carbonized grease, arcing burner switches, and worn door seals are the three most common causes of kitchen fires — and all three develop slowly over months of normal cooking. Read what to look for before something ignites.

⚡ Microwave — Magnetron Damage

Seen a spark inside your microwave? Stop using it. That's the magnetron about to fail.

A single grease stain on the waveguide cover can destroy a $400 component in one cycle. 90% of magnetron failures are preventable with a 5-minute monthly cleaning that almost no one does.

🚿 Dishwasher — Pump & Cabinet Damage

Dishes still dirty after a full cycle? The filter you've never cleaned is the likely culprit.

A clogged filter overworks the wash pump until it seizes — a $350 repair. And a slow drip from a worn door seal silently soaks through the cabinet base for months before anyone notices the damage.
